Why We Built CreatorPayCalc.com

Most "money calculator" widgets are one-trick ponies: they hard-code a single RPM, ignore audience country, ignore the difference between CPM and RPM, and never show tax take-home. We built a different tool:

• Multi-platform: YouTube long-form & Shorts, Twitch Bits and subs, TikTok Creator Rewards, views-to-money.
• Multi-stream: model ads + sponsorships + memberships/Shop together, not just ad revenue.
• Country-aware: US audiences are worth roughly 4.3× the worldwide average per view; India about 0.24×.
• Tax take-home: see what you keep after simplified US self-employment tax.
• Reverse targets: how many views to hit a $1,000/month goal at your RPM.

Our Estimation Methodology

Earnings = (monthly views ÷ 1,000) × RPM. RPM (revenue per 1,000 views, after the platform's cut and non-monetized views) is the number creators should negotiate with — not CPM, which is what advertisers pay before the platform share (YouTube keeps roughly 45%). Benchmarks are compiled from publicly reported creator data and platform documentation, updated October 2026, with per-page source and update disclosures.
